Lightning protector with surge protection for RF communications systems introduced by Times Microwave
WALLINGFORD, Conn., 5 Sept. 2010. Times Microwave Systems in Wallingford, Conn., is introducing the LP-BTR RF lightning protector and surge protection products designed to safeguard RF communications networks from extreme fluctuations in power. These devices replace the Times Microwave LP-BTR50 product family.
Features include expanded frequency range capability from 20 MHz to 1000 MHz; bulkhead mount capability in addition to flange mount; weatherization gasket for bulkhead and feed-through installations; and adjustable flange mounting bracket with captivated screws.
The LP-BTR series exhibits power handling, longevity, multi-strike performance, low insertion loss, and low return loss over the operating frequency band, and surge performance.
LP-BTR surge arrestors available are the LP-BTR-NFF (N female on surge & protected sides); LP-BTR-NMP (N male on protected side & N female on surge side); and LP-BTR-NMS (N male on surge side & N female on protected side).
