Rugged tablet computer with sunlight-readable display and that meets MIL-STD-810F introduced by GD Itronix
SUNRISE, Fla., 1 July 2011. General Dynamics Itronix in Sunrise, Fla., is introducing the GD3015 semi-rugged tablet PC for field in the field by police and other law-enforcement officers, utilities workers, truck drivers and other transportation workers, warehouse workers and other industry field services. The GD3015 rugged tablet computer meets IP54 for dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD-810F for shock, vibration, rain, sand, and dust. The Intel Atom-powered rugged tablet has a 10.4-inch sunlight-readable touch-screen display that accepts inputs from a gloved hand, and has a security chip and user authentication software.
