Pelican Products Inc. in Torrance, Calif., is introducing HardBack protective cases for portable electronics ranging from 7- and 10-inch tablet computers to 14- and 15-inch laptop computers. The HardBack series cases are crush resistant, watertight, and have automatic pressure equalization valves to prevent vacuum lock and make the cases easy to open at any altitude. The cases have anti-scratch foam inserts, stainless steel hardware, and snap latches.

The Pelican 1065 HardBack case is for tablet computers as wide as 10 inches, such as the iPad, iPad 2 and the Motorola Xoom. The Pelican 1075 HardBack fits 10.1-inch tablets, external hard drives, and netbooks.The Pelican i1075 iPad Case protects and organizes the iPad or iPad 2, Apple Bluetooth wireless keyboard, power adapter, and download cables. The Pelican 1085 HardBack case protects computers as wide as 14 inches. The Pelican 1095 HardBack case protects computers as wide as 15 inches. The Pelican 1095 and 1085 HardBack cases have padlock slots.
