WATERLOO, Ontario, 18 March 2012. Pixus Technologies in Waterloo, Ontario, is offering electronics packaging for the embedded computing industry involving AdvancedTCA, CompactPCI, and VME-based packaging for military embedded systems and other embedded computing applications.
Pixus has three business units -- Pixus Backplanes, Pixus Enclosure Solutions, and Pixus Components -- and offers embedded computing backplanes in AdvancedTCA, CompactPCI/2.16/PCI Express, MicroTCA, VME/64x, OpenVPX, and custom architectures.
Pixus enclosures come in industrial and rugged designs, with Eurocard-designs and instrument cases for industrial, medical, transportation, test and measurement, and other industries. Pixus also supplies front panels, ejector handles, and card guides.
