Skytronics and Beaver Aerospace & Defense showcase lifecycle support for flight control components
FARNBOROUGH, England, 11 July 2012. Skytronics Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries (PSI), is showcasing its FAA overhaul and repair capabilities for commercial and military aircraftactuation systems and ball screw assemblies at the 2012 Farnborough International Airshow.
MRO personnel who oversee the operation of commercial and military aircraft must develop effective cost-management strategies to maintain their fleets. Skytronics is an FAA-approved Repair Station holding approvals from the EASA, CAAC, and Boeing. Skytronics also holds licensed parts manufacturing authority (PMA) on stabilizer ball screws for Boeing 747/737/727/707 aircraft.
Skytronics will exhibit with another PSI subsidiary, Beaver Aerospace & Defense, a designer and manufacturer of broad-range actuation technologies, including ball screws, actuators, ball splines, and gears.
