TE Connectivity continues Deutsch integration, offers expanded product range and distribution

FARNBOROUGH, England, 11 July 2012. TE Connectivity (TE) announced an updated status of their integration of Deutsch Group SAS today at the Farnborough International Airshow. In addition, TE and Deutsch representatives discussed the combined product line and the impact it will have on customers in the military and commercial aerospace markets.

The acquisition of Deutsch, a provider of connectivity solutions for harsh environment applications, has expanded TE's connector product offering, helping the company to fill in the gap on circular and composite connectors.

Integration of Deutsch is currently underway within TE. Led by TE's sales channel, the focus has been on supporting and serving the companies customers. The addition of Deutsch focused franchised distributors has been added to the existing TE distribution channel to further increase TE's distribution chain. In addition to the channel changes, TE is working towards a unified sales team in order to increase the combined TE and Deutsch presence for all customer accounts.

The goal of integrating Deutsch is to provide reduced lead times and ease procurement for all TE products across their new product line.
