Four-leaded DC link film capacitors for power supplies and inverters introduced by AVX
FOUNTAIN INN, S.C., 15 Aug. 2012. AVX Corp. in Fountain Inn, S.C., is introducing a series of polypropylene dielectric DC link film capacitors for DC power supplies and inverters for solar power, electric drive, and industrial power systems.
Available in a range of case sizes containing more than 50 ratings, AVX's four-leaded FE series power electronics capacitors use low loss film technology, and feature capacitance and voltage ratings to 1.2 kilovolts.
"The new 4-leaded FE series DC link capacitors combine the self-healing properties of the dielectric with low loss film technology to ensure long lifetimes and low thermal losses in power applications," says Chris Reynolds, technical marketing manager at AVX.
