OpenVPX conduction-cooled solid-state data storage blade introduced by Critical I/O
IRVINE, Calif., 21 Oct. 2012. Embedded computing specialist Critical I/O LLC in Irvine, Calif., is introducing the StoreEngine OpenVPX conduction-cooled scalable solid-state storage blade for high-performance military embedded systems.
StoreEngine can operate as a high-bandwidth data recorder, embedded RAID, or file server. The product is scalable in storage capacity and performance by adding additional StoreEngine blades.
StoreEngine provides storage capability within a small size, weight, and power (SWaP) footprint for high-bandwidth data recording, file serving, and general purpose RAID applications.
