MONT-SAINT-GUIBERT, Belgium, 19 June 2013. Cissoid in Mont-Saint-Guibert Belgium, is introducing the CHT-RIGEL adjustable voltage regulator for embedded power supplies in applications that must sustain high temperatures, harsh environments. or that simply require extended lifetime.

The CHT-RIGEL power electronics device accepts an input voltage range from 4.5 to 30 volts, and generates a regulated output settable between 1.8 and 28 volts. With 100-milliamp current capability, it is suitable for applications where analog circuitry or small microcontrollers or FPGAs require a stable and accurate supply voltage.

It features a chip enable input putting the circuit in a stand-by mode, with a few micro amps typical power consumption. The device is packaged in a 5-by-5.5-millimeter SMD ceramic package TDFP that operates in temperatures from -55 to 225 degrees Celsius.
