Rugged panel PC for transportation and other harsh-environment uses introduced by Saelig
FAIRPORT, N.Y., 25 June 2013. Saelig Co. Inc. in Fairport, N.Y., is introducing the Intel Atom-powered SP-0L series industrial touch-panel PCs for marine and land transportation, industrial or building automation, food and drug manufacturing, medical and health care applications, equipment monitoring, control and data processing, and other applications in tough environments requiring low noise.
The panel computer has the Intel Atom N270 CPU and 945 GSE & ICH7M chipset on a 3.5-inch single-board computer , and 1 to 2 gigabytes of DDR II memory and 4 gigabytes DOM. The fanless, compact design has an optional waterproof gasket for advanced protection from water or dust intrusion.
Housed in a sturdy metal case with brushed aluminum front panel, SP-0L series Panel PCs are for an operating environment of 32 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit.
Several LCD panel sizes are available in 4:3 aspect ratio from 8.4-inch to 15.6-inch, and 15.6-inch or 19-inch for 16:9 wide screen applications.
The low power consumption SP-0L series Panel PCs are powered by an external 12 -- 24 volts DC supply. I/O ports provided include 1-by-LAN, 2-by-RS232, 2-by-USB 2.0, VGA display, 1-by-PS2, with additional expansion provided with 1-by-CF card socket, 1-by-Mini PCI slot, allowing users expanded functionality for applications requiring special I/O or more memory.
Available operating systems include Windows 7 Pro, Windows Embedded 7, Windows XP Pro, Embedded XP, Linux, and WinCE. For more information contact Saelig online at www.saelig.com.
