Aug. 5, 2014
LOWELL, Mass., 5 Aug. 2014. M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. in Lowell, Mass., is introducing the MADL-011014 200-Watt CW L-band power limiter for air traffic management, radar systems, and other demanding applications that require high peak and CW power.
The passive, matched power electronics device operates over the 1-2 GHz bandwidth and integrates the equivalent of 19 discrete diode and passive components into one packaged solution, company officials say.
The device has 200 CW power handling and as much as 1000-Watts of peak power handling under 300 microseconds and 10 percent duty cycle pulse conditions.
The MADL-011014 has 0.35 dB insertion loss and 19 dBm flat leakage power at +55dBm and comes in a low RGA, hermetic package with a 10.1 by 6.2 by 3.2-millimeter outline.
