Signal splitters for industrial automation and power generation introduced by Amphenol
SIDNEY, N.Y., 14 Aug. 2015. Amphenol Industrial Products Group in Sidney, N.Y., is introducing Tru-Loc signal splitters for industrial automation, process control, power generation, diesel, LNG & gas engines, automotive sensing, electronic gear shifting, and industrial Internet applications.
These interconnect products are for use in CANbus Networks: CAN-high, CAN-low, ground or shielded, I/O power, low amperage power distribution as well as sensor harnessing.
The signal splitters have six-terminal inputs that allow for many combinations of functions in one connector. The Tru-Loc splitter helps to reduce the number of connectors needed in an application.
These splitters receive power and signal from one cable and splits it into two equal, yet separate, sets of power and signal as output. Made from thermoplastic material, it can operate in environments to 150 degrees Celsius.

Splitters feature 120 Ohm +/-10 percent of controlled impedance between two sets of contact pairs for multiple sets of sensors in the same network. The mating plug connectors feature Amphenol's RADSOK socket contacts.
The Tru-Loc splitters offer as much as 13 amps current capability per contact and dielectric withstanding of 1,600 volts AC rms. Amphenol's six-terminal signal splitters have operating temperature ranges from -40 to 150 C.
