LOGAN, Utah, 1 Feb. 2016. Juniper Systems Inc. in Logan, Utah, is introducing the Mesa 2 rugged tablet computer for use in harsh environments. It runs Windows 10, and is powerful enough to use in place of a desktop computer.
The rugged tablet has a 7-inch display, and is designed to perform reliably in harsh environments. It is IP68-rated for protection against water and dust. It also maintains a seal while its ports are in use.
The Mesa 2 also has a chemically strengthened Dragontrail glass touch screen for durability and reduced haze from surface scratches and cracks.
The Mesa 2 battery provides users with 8 to 10 hours of runtime. An optional expansion battery is available that provides an additional 4 to 5 hours of runtime plus hot swap capabilities.
