Sixteen-channel data-acquisition system for comprehensive signal monitoring introduced by VadaTech
HENDERSON, Nev. – VadaTech Inc. in Henderson, Nev., is introducing the VT988 TI ADC08B3000 based 16-channel data-acquisition system for use in comprehensive signal-monitoring systems.
The VT988 is capable of synchronous sampling 8-bit A/D converters as quickly as 3 gigasamples per second. All input data channels pass through a Virtex-7 485T field-programmable gate array (FPGA) which is user programmable for filtering and DDC.
The system can output data through dual front-panel 10 Gigabit Ethernet or processed by the on-board Jetson TX2 module. The VT988 also has a Layer 2 Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch which provides quad Gigabit Ethernet through RJ-45 interface to the front panel and allows interconnection among the subsystems.
The NVIDIA Jetson TX2 features an integrated 256-core NVIDIA Pascal GPU at 1300 MHz, a hex-core ARMv8 64-bit CPU complex, and 8 gigabytes of LPDDR4 memory with a 128-bit interface.

The CPU complex combines a dual-core NVIDIA Denver 2 alongside a quad-core ARM Cortex-A57. Front-panel USB and HDMI are available for user interface.
The VT988 is AC powered for convenience, is 1U and 10 inches deep, and can be used as a desktop appliance or 19-inch rack-mount. VadaTech also offers extended-temperature and conformal coating options for harsh environments.
