LaBarge to provide cockpit wiring harnesses for Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter avionics

LaBarge Inc. in Joplin, Mo., will supply cockpit wiring harnesses for various models of the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk military utility helicopter under terms of a $5 million contract from Kaman Aerospace Corp. in Bloomfield, Conn.

LaBarge Inc. in Joplin, Mo., will supply cockpit wiring harnesses for various models of the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk military utility helicopter under terms of a $5 million contract from Kaman Aerospace Corp. in Bloomfield, Conn. The LaBarge wiring harnesses are for cockpits of the UH-60M and HH-60L military medical evacuation models of the Black Hawk.

LaBarge won a $2.2 million contract from Kaman in late 2005 to provide cockpit wiring harnesses for other Black Hawk models.

Work on this latest contract will be at LaBarge’s Joplin, Mo., facility, and should be finished by early 2008.

LaBarge also provides printed circuit cards and sensor assemblies directly to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. for the Black Hawk program. Sikorsky builds the Black Hawk family of helicopters, in use by all five branches of the U.S. military, as well as by governments in 25 countries for military operations.
