U.S. Navy officials sought complex integrated microwave assemblies (IMAs) for electronic warfare systems aboard a U.S. Navy electronic attack aircraft. They found their solution at Herley Industries Inc.’s Herley CTI subsidiary in Whippany, N.J.
Herley CTI won a $2.3 million contract award from a U.S. defense contractor to manufacture the electronic-warfare IMAs.
“This award is in addition to an $8.2 million award to Herley New England, for a combined award of $10.5 million for this customer and program,” Herley’s chairman and CEO, Myron Levy, explains.
