Avionics equipment from Curtiss-Wright to be supplied to AgustaWestland

PARSIPPANY, N.J., 15 Oct 2010. Curtiss-Wright Corp. (NYSE:CW) announced that it signed a follow-on, long-term Design and Manufacturing Agreement with AgustaWestland to provide data recording and replay equipment, ice detection equipment, and air data computers for use in GrandNew, AW139, and AW149 aircraft.

(NYSE:CW) announced that it signed a follow-on, long-term Design and Manufacturing Agreement with AgustaWestland to provide data recording and replay equipment, ice detection equipment, and air data computers for use in GrandNew, AW139, and AW149 aircraft. Aircraft components provided by Curtiss-Wright under the agreement includes their acquisition flight recorder, multi purpose flight recorder, cockpit control unit, cockpit area microphone, recorder independent power supply, cockpit panel quick access recorder, generic air data unit, ice severity detection system, and PGS flight recorder replay system. Curtiss-Wright designs, develops and manufactures the components at its Motion Control segment's avionics facility in Christchurch, England.
