Business Jet Access receives platinum re-certification from ARG/US
Dallas, Texas, 23 Aug 2012. Business Jet Access (BJA), a forward base operator (FBO), has received a platinum rating re-certification by the Aviation Research Group/US (ARG/US) following a bi-annual audit. In addition, BJA has earned certification for Stage 2 of the international standard for business aircraft operations (IS-BAO).
The Platinum rating is the highest designation afforded an FAR Part 135 Aircraft Charter Operator by ARG/US, a Cincinnati, Ohio, based aviation data, research and analysis firm.
In advancing to Stage 2 of IS-BAO Certification, BJA has demonstrated the integration of their Safety Management System (SMS) into all aspects of daily operation to the International Business Aviation Council. The IS-BAO certification is a code of best practices designed to help flight departments and charter operators achieve a high level of safety and professionalism.
Business Jet Access serves a variety of clients around the world. Featuring a selection of charter, leasing and management packages, BJA's fleet includes King Air 350, Challenger 300 and Gulfstream IV-SP aircraft. For maintenance services, BJA has a FAA certificated repair station team with experience on a range of corporate aircraft.
Business Jet Access initially gained an ARG/US Platinum designation in 2006 after meeting the criteria for the ARG/US Gold rating as well as successfully passing an on-site safety audit conducted identically to the Department of Defense (DOD) Air Carrier Quality and Safety inspection.
