BTC Electronic Components expands portfolio with high-reliability J-Tech RJ45, USB rugged Ethernet connectors
WAKE FOREST, N.C., 17 Oct. 2012.BTC Electronic Components (BTC) now offers RJ45 and USBruggedEthernet connectors from J-Tech, a division of Conesys.
J-Tech produces connectors with industry-standard RJ45 and USB cordsets in a rugged, metal shell without the need for any special tools for cable termination. The MIL-DTL-38999 Series III shells, designed for aerospace and defense applications and for use in harsh environments, provide protection against mechanical and environmental conditions. The connectors are well suited to various applications, such as network interconnections and data acquisition/transmission in unmanned vehicle command and control stations, radar systems, military vehicles, battle theater communications, and shipboard systems.
The Conesys/J-Tech RJ45 and USB rugged Ethernet connector are available with a RoHS-compliant plating option. Additional options include: cable versions with IP68 backshells using a plastic gland or EMI backshells, receptacles with inserts grounded to the shell of the connector, and through-bulkhead receptacles designed to mate with EMI/RFI plug on each side of receptacle. Accessories are available, including metal dust caps, self-closing caps, and panel gaskets.
