Afghan national air carrier chooses FL Technics to provide MRO services for Boeing 737 passenger jet fleet
VILNIUS, Lithuania, 4 Nov. 2012. Executives of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) specialist FL Technics in Vilnius, Lithuania, have signed a three-year engineering support agreement with the Afghan national air carrier Ariana Afghan Airlines in Kabul, Afghanistan,to provide engineering services to the airline's four Boeing 737 passenger jet aircraft.
Ariana Afghan will receive aircraft engineering support, including aircraft and component inspections, interim engineering and maintenance management, continuous airworthiness management, as well as non-destructive testing, data management, and other services.
Most of the services, designed under the EASA Part M approval, will be delivered at the FL Technics main base in Vilnius, Lithuania.
FL Technics holds EASA certificates for integrated narrow- and wide-body aircraft MRO services: EASA Part 145, EASA Part 147, EASA Part M, and EASA Part 21.
