Jet Aviation Hong Kong receives FAA approval Gulfstream G650 long-range business jet line and base maintenance

HONG KONG, 14 April 2013. Jet Aviation Hong Kong has received approval from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington to provide line and base maintenance to Gulfstream G650 business jets.

With this approval, Jet Aviation Hong Kong joins the growing roster of company facilities authorized to provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services to the new ultra-long-range, ultra-large-cabin Gulfstream G650. The Hong Kong maintenance facility also supports Gulfstream 400/450/500/550 aircraft.

“As the company’s closest maintenance base to mainland China, we are poised to support Gulfstream owners and operators in the region," says Nigel Parker, managing director at the Jet Aviation Hong Kong maintenance facility.

Jet Aviation also has a 24/7 aircraft management and charter operation in Hong Kong, and has 25 aircraft in its Asian management fleet. The company added seven new aircraft to its managed fleet in Asia the past year -- including a new Gulfstream G650.

Jet Aviation Hong Kong offers line maintenance, inspections and defect rectifications, as well as AOG support, and has access to a 99,027-square-foot hangar.

The company holds Hong Kong CAD maintenance repair station approval and an FAA repair station certificate #6JAY388B, and mainland China JMM approval for PRC-registered aircraft. In addition, it services aircraft registered in 11 other countries through Jet Aviation's maintenance approvals in Singapore, which include EASA #145.0461, Aruba DCA, Australian CASA, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, Indonesia DGAC, Macao MAR-145, Malaysia DCA, Philippines ATO, Singapore CAAS and Thailand DOA.
