Erickson Air-Crane wins MRO contract to modify, upgrade CH54B tail boom and pylon assemblies

PORTLAND, Ore., 20 Aug. 2013. Erickson Air-Crane Inc. (NASDAQ:EAC), a global provider of aviation services to commercial and government customers and the vertically integrated manufacturer and operator of the heavy-lift Erickson S-64 Aircrane helicopter, won a contract from Helicopter Transport Services (HTS) to perform modifications and upgrades on seven CH54B tail boom and pylon assemblies.

PORTLAND, Ore., 20 Aug. 2013. Erickson Air-Crane Inc. (NASDAQ:EAC), a global provider of aviation services to commercial and government customers and the vertically integrated manufacturer and operator of the heavy-lift Erickson S-64 Aircrane helicopter, won a contract from Helicopter Transport Services (HTS) to perform modifications and upgrades on seven CH54B tail boom and pylon assemblies.

Modifications and upgrades performed by Erickson will extend life limits on critical components. Advanced engineering and technical work is already underway. The total value of the contract is approximately $1.5 million.
