Betria Interactive adopts IFE Services FlightPath3D moving map and geotainment service
KNUTSFORD, England, 4 Sept. 2013. Officials at in-flight entertainment (IFE) content provider IFE Services has signed a partnership agreement with Betria Interactive to bring its new FlightPath3D Moving Map and Destination “geotainment” service to the global airline community.
The FlightPath3D integrated in-flight moving map service, for airline passengers to enjoy in-flight, includes a flight preview “auto-play” script broadcast during aircraft boarding as well as an in-seat interactive 3D map application with detailed satellite imagery and integrated street maps. A new destination guide information service updates relevant point-of-interest information periodically for an airline's destination cities.
Betria Interactive last month announced Norwegian as its launch FlightPath3D customer. "FlightPath3D delivered by far the most engaging passenger experience," says Boris Bubresko, head of business development at Norwegian.
"We're very excited about our partnership with IFE Services," notes Boris Veksler, president of Betria Interactive. "With the launch of our flagship product, FlightPath3D, we needed a strategic partner to help us accelerate our market reach. As a platform agnostic service provider, IFE Services' top priority is delivering the best solutions available on the market and what is ultimately in the best interests of their clients."
