CDB Leasing becomes first PurePower engines customer in mainland China
SINGAPORE, 14 Feb. 2014. CDB Leasing Co. Ltd. (CLC) of China placed an order for up to 30 Bombardier Aerospace CSeries aircraft, and will become the first recipient of Pratt & Whitney PurePower engines in mainland China.
The CSeries aircraft family is powered exclusively by PurePower PW1500G engines from Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.
The CLC purchase agreement calls for the delivery of CS100 and CS300 commercial aircraft.

CLC, based in Shenzhen, China, provides leasing services within the aviation, rail, shipping, infrastructure, commercial vehicles, and industrial equipment industries. CLC's current fleet size is over 170.
