Fifty-first Paris Air Show opens doors to growing, global crowd of aerospace professionals
PARIS, 15 June 2015. The 51st edition of Paris Air Show opened its doors to a crowd of aerospace professionals for four trade days (through Thursday), after which the general public is invited to attend Friday through Sunday, when the event closes.
This year’s Paris Air Show features several new initiatives:
· Entry to the Air & Space Museum is free for all visitors with their show ticket
· A large 30,000 square-meter lawn area will be opened to the general public next to the runway, so they can get closer to the flying displays
· A 3,000+ seat stand will be set up on the lawn area so visitors can get a better seat for the displays (extra ticket)
· A flying display program (2-3 hours long) has been specially designed for the public. A number of aircraft will illustrate the technology of today and the future
· Big screens set up around the show will display a live broadcast of flying displays so visitors can enjoy them close up and from spectacular angles
· Activities and events for the general public designed with our partners
· The Patrouille de France Acrobatic Team will make a special appearance during the public days
Paris Air Show organizers explain that the Paris Air Show is unique in terms of its size and diversity:
