MADRID -- Spain's Wamos Air is partnering with technology developer Immfly to expand in-flight entertainment service to its Boeing 747-400 fleet.

The platform, called "Wamos on Air", will stream movies, music and television programming via mobile devices and computers connected to Immfly's in-flight WiFi network. The service will also allow passengers to read and download newspaper and magazine content.

"We are pleased to announce the implementation of Immfly's solution on all our scheduled flights," said Jose Ignacio Hernandez, Wamos Air representative. "As a long-haul airline, we are permanently driving for solutions that improve our passengers' onboard experience, and we are convinced Immfly is the perfect co-pilot for this ongoing project."

Immfly said Wamos Air is the fourth Spanish carrier to partner with it for in-flight entertainment services. The Barcelona-based company has previously announced partnerships with Air Nostrum, Iberia Express and Volotea.
