ANDALUSIA, Ala. -- Aircraft maintenance service provider Yulista Holding has opening a new fixed- and rotary-wing facility at the Southern Alabama Regional Airport.
The complex includes two hangers, an office, and manufacturing and storage space, with services geared specifically toward Lockheed C-130 and Boeing 737 aircraft.
"Our Southern Alabama Regional Airport (SARA) facility is going to be instrumental in serving our customers by increasing our capacity and giving us the ability to support different customers, their missions and platforms," said Yulista CEO Josh Herren.
The airport's close distance to the Eglin Air Force Base and other installations located in the Florida panhandle opens new opportunities for contracts, the company said, while the scope of its facilities can easily accommodate other craft as well.
"Yulista is excited to be working with SARA and becoming a part of the Covington County and Andalusia communities," Herren said.
Yusalita, based in Huntsville, Ala., also announced this week it had completed a new 80,000-square foot hanger at the Huntsville Executive Airport in Meridianville, Ala.
