RF and microwave components help transmit high-quality signals while amplifying transmit signals with a low-noise amplifier to produce high data rates.

IRVINE, Calif. - Pasternack, an Infinite Electronics brand in Irvine, Calif., is introducing four bi-directional amplifiers for broadband RF telemetry, tactical communications, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications.

These RF and microwave components help transmit high-quality signals while amplifying transmit signals with advanced low-noise amplifier to produce the highest possible data rates.

One of the four new products covers VHF/UHF, L, S, C, and broadband RF frequency bands that range from 0.225 to 5.875 MHz. These rugged, military-grade designs are in compact environmentally sealed SMA-connectorized packages with quick-connect or D-SUB connectors for DC and control functions.

These designs offer sensitive receiver performance with 2.5-decibel noise figures. Some also have efficient gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductor technology.

Transmit saturated output power (Psat) levels range from 8 to 20 Watts and boost performance of data links and transmitters. These models feature manual or auto-sensing transmit-and-receive control with fast switching times of 1 to 2 microseconds.
