FAA to host virtual industry event on the future of air traffic surveillance technology

The FAA's Surveillance Services leadership team will present its strategy and 2022 NAS Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure Roadmaps on 23 March 2022.

WASHINGTON - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be hosting a virtual industry event on 23 March 2022 to discuss how how air traffic surveillance services and infrastructure will continue to evolve into the future. According to the agency, it aims to deliver vital surveillance services for safe and efficient use in the National Airspace System (NAS).

Event Location Virtual via Zoom Login and dial-in information will be emailed to event registrants the day before the event Event Overview Opening remarks from FAA executive leadership Overview presentations on: evolution of FAA surveillance system/services needs; new systems/services acquisitions; and business opportunities between now and 2035; and programmatic strategy for sustaining existing surveillance capabilities. There will also be a virtual question and answer sessions for participants. All participants must register in advance.
