JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia - The Red Sea International Airport (RSI) in Hanak, Saudia Arabia needed a technology provider for the new airport's main terminal. They found their solutions from SITA in Geneva, Switzerland. This collaboration follows SITA's earlier work deploying technology at RSI’s Air Taxi Terminal.
The Red Sea International Airport is projected to serve one million passengers annually by 2030. The terminal is designed to handle up to 900 passengers per hour at peak capacity, with digital solutions playing a role in maintaining efficiency.
Under the agreement, SITA will provide a various services, including passenger processing, baggage tracking, and airport operations management. The company’s SITA Flex and Maestro departure control systems will automate check-in and departure, allowing passengers to use their mobile devices for self-service options.
