China Eastern selects Lufthansa Technik as A350 APU maintenance provider

HAMBURG, Germany - Eastern Airlines Technic, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines in Shanghai, has entered into a 12-year agreement with Lufthansa Technik for exclusive maintenance services on the auxiliary power units (APUs) of its Airbus A350 fleet.

Under the agreement, Lufthansa Technik will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the Honeywell HGT1700 APUs at its dedicated facility in Hamburg, Germany. The HGT1700 is exclusively used on Airbus A350 aircraft.

Lufthansa Technik is an authorized repair partner for Honeywell's HGT1700 APUs and offers a full range of MRO services for the model. The company operates a specialized component repair center and leverages a global supply network to ensure service quality.
