PHOENIX - Honeywell in Phoenix has signed an agreement with Dassault Aviation in Little Ferry, N.J. to equip Falcon business jets with JetWave X, its high-speed in-flight connectivity system. The system will be available as both a line-fit and retrofit option, providing global, uninterrupted coverage comparable to home and office internet speeds.

"Fast, reliable in-flight data is more critical than ever before, and JetWave X will enable business jet owners and operators to seamlessly connect no matter where they fly while enjoying the same high-speed connectivity they expect on the ground," said Jason Wissink, vice president and general manager of Services and Connectivity at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies.

JetWave X connects to Viasat’s Ka-band network, including the ViaSat-3 and Global Xpress satellites, and is designed to be compatible with future Ka-band networks. The system allows operators to switch between multiple networks to maintain optimal connectivity and cost efficiency.

"The best level of connectivity is essential for living and working on board our fleet of long-range aircraft," said Carlos Brana, Dassault Aviation’s executive vice president for civil aircraft. "The addition of JetWave X builds on our long and successful collaboration with Honeywell and keeps us at the forefront of the business jet travel experience."

Dassault’s FalconConnect platform, powered by Honeywell, integrates multiple connectivity options, including 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, and various satellite networks. Honeywell will continue supporting its existing JetWave systems, which will see performance improvements under its JetXP plans.

JetWave X is expected to enter the market in 2026 as a line-fit option and will also be available for retrofitting on in-service aircraft.
