Aireon’s space-based ADS-B system extends surveillance coverage beyond terrestrial airspace.

EVENDALE, Ohio - GE Aerospace in Cincinnati announced it will integrate Aireon’s space-based automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) data into Airspace Insight, a platform designed to analyze airspace efficiency and optimize flight operations.

Aireon’s ADS-B network provides real-time aircraft tracking worldwide, including remote and oceanic regions where traditional ground-based surveillance is limited. By incorporating this data, Airspace Insight - co-developed by MapLarge - will offer airlines improved aircraft positioning analysis to enhance flight safety and operational efficiency.

"Aireon’s global ADS-B data brings a new level of visibility to our Airspace Insight platform, helping our customers optimize their operations and make more informed, data-driven decisions,” said Andrew Coleman, general manager of GE Aerospace, Software as a Service.
