Small, rugged, wireless router for networking in industrial conditions introduced by WIN Enterprises

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – WIN Enterprises in North Andover, Mass., is introducing the PL-80580 fanless, rugged, small-form-factor wireless router for networking applications requiring the small footprint and ability to operate in industrial temperatures.
The router, which also can function as an industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) gateway, also is for robotics, cart-based medical, and digital signage applications.
The digital networking device measures 216 by 142 by 37.5 millimeters, and has an E3800 Intel Atom system-on-chip (SoC) processor with speeds to 1.91 GHz for intelligent systems.
The unit operates in temperatures from -10 to 60 degrees Celsius, and has connections for HDMI, VGA1 by SATA III, mSATA, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and 3.0, and has a full-size mini-PCI Express card.
The rugged unit offers a choice of three Intel Atom E3800 3-D processors with tri-gate design in single-, dual-, and quad-core versions with 2x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. The low-power processor consumes 5, 7, or 10 Watts.
