Rugged 38999 data connector for military and aviation applications introduced by Carlisle Technologies

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Carlisle Interconnect Technologies in St. Augustine, Fla., is introducing the Octax Hybrid high-speed data connectors for defense, commercial aviation, and industrial applications.

These multi-port connectors combine 10-gigabit data with additional discretes in one 38999 shell. They are available in six standard key configurations to prevent mismating with adjacent connectors, and several different finishes.

These connectors maintain the data port shields through the connector to ensure noise rejection on data ports. Other features include density to 8 Octax in a size 25 shell; six configurations in 11, 15, and 25 shell sizes; standard M39029 crimp contacts; and configurability to customer needs.
