PORT COQUITLAM, British Columbia – Emergent Vision Technologies Inc. in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, is introducing the 25 Gigabit Ethernet Hermes PH-25-QUAD and 10 Gigabit Ethernet Theia PT-10-QUAD network interface cards (NICs) for machine vision and imaging applications.

Both quad-port PCI Express Gen3 x16 smart NICs feature a real-time front-panel 5V TTL trigger input. The cards support Gigabit Ethernet Vision Streaming Protocol (GVSP), Windows and Linux operating systems, GPUDirect, and camera multiplexing with switches.

The PH-25-QUAD and PT-10-QUAD can handle several streams depending on the device's resources, and provide optimal performance for video streams with minimal system memory use and low-latency and low-jitter capabilities.

Emergent also offers dual-port NICs in the 10 Gigabit Ethernet Theia series, 25 Gigabit Ethernet Hermes series, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet Zeus series of NICs for machine vision, imaging, and similar applications. In addition, the Zeus series offers a 100 Gigabit Ethernet single-port option.
