LaBarge to produce electronic assemblies for radar jammers on F-15 jet fighter
Aug. 1, 2008
Officials at Northrop Grumman Corp. needed electronic assemblies for its AN/ALQ-135 radar jammer system. They found the needed equipment at LaBarge Inc. in St. Louis.
The AN/ALQ-135 internally mounted radar countermeasures system automatically detects and jams radar signals, repelling enemy missiles and other airborne threats.
LaBarge engineers are delivering electronic assemblies for Northrop Grumman AN/ALQ-135 systems, which will be integrated on the U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle jet fighter. They will produce the assemblies for Northrop Grumman through April 2009 at LaBarge’s Tulsa, Okla., facility.
