B.E. Meyers integrates Directed Perception pan-tilt into new Stealth camera
Designers at B.E. Meyers & Co. Inc. in Redmond, Wash., set out to create a reliable, durable, and responsive device suitable for mission-critical applications in developing their Stealth 301 day-night color camera system.
In fact, the Stealth 301 high-definition, integrated digital system was designed expressly for harbor and airport long-range surveillance and perimeter control.
The weatherproof Stealth 301 delivers up to 216´ Power Remote Zoom, high-resolution and full auto-gating imagery, and support of specialized surveillance vehicles, yet a critical element was missing.
The system needed a compact pan-tilt capable of smooth, fast motion and offering durability and battery operation. To fill this void, B.E. Meyers commissioned the PTU-D46-17W pan-tilt system from Directed Perception Inc. in Burlingame, Calif.
The PTU-D46-17W can operate as fast as 300 degrees per second, of benefit to the Stealth 301’s target audience of special operations and law enforcement teams. For more information, visit www.dperception.com.
