ARLINGTON, Va., 25 April 2005. CACI International Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a $9.4 million prime contract to provide C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) support services for the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division.

The contract, which has a duration of one base year and four option years, was awarded under the Naval Sea Systems Command's 15-year, $50 billion SeaPort Enhanced contract vehicle. CACI was one of the multiple awardees of the SeaPort contract in April 2004. Work will be performed in Dahlgren and at worldwide Navy ship and shore locations. This award leverages and expands CACI's engineering and logistics line of business.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division is one of the Navy's principal research, development, and testing activities for naval and joint warfare systems. The division's many activities include maintaining Aegis computer systems, supporting targeting and fire control programs for Trident submarines, and certifying the safety of every weapon and ordnance system in use in the Navy and Marine Corps.

CACI's role is to provide the division with engineering and technical services for C4ISR systems and subsystems. To support all areas of the contract, CACI partnered with two subcontractors known for their C4ISR expertise and experience: Sabre Systems, Inc. and Global Technology and Management Resources.

Together, CACI and its teammates will identify, evaluate, and implement cost-effective performance improvements and solve challenging technical issues. The team will also provide critical technical leadership and coordination among various government agencies, contractors, and system operators to ensure optimum solutions are devised and implemented across multiple C4ISR systems.

CACI's chairman, president, and CEO Dr. J.P. (Jack) London said, "CACI offers proven expertise to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division as it modernizes and upgrades worldwide C4ISR capabilities. This award continues our support for command and control initiatives that enable our nation's military leaders to achieve information dominance. CACI is committed to helping our Defense Department clients meet their goals for improved warfighter support."
