Atom-based rugged fanless computer for smart factory and other industrial applications introduced by AAEON

TAIPEI, Taiwan – AAEON Technology in Taipei, Taiwan, is introducing the BOXER-6406-ADN rugged, compact, and fanless embedded computing system for smart factory and other industrial applications.

The BOXER-6406-ADN is built on the Intel Atom Processor X series Intel Processor N-series processor, and offers and operational temperature range from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius.

The rugged industrial computer supports a voltage input range of 9 to 36 volts, over under-voltage current protection, and short-circuit protection. It offers IEC 68-2-27 anti-shock tolerance and advanced anti-vibration capabilities, with lockable I/O connectors.

The computer measures 186 by 104.6 by 49.1 millimeters, and can be wall-mounted. The fanless system is available in various SKUs, powered by the Intel Processor N200, Intel Processor N50, or the Intel Atom x7211E.

The BOXER-6406-ADN offers 32 gigabytes of DDR5 solid-state data storage running at 4800 Mhz via SODIMM slot, and offers interfaces, such as DB-9 and DB-15 ports for RS-232 422 485 and digital I/O functions, and includes two RJ-45 ports for Intel I226-LM Ethernet running at 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, dual HDMI, and four USB type-A ports.

It has a 2.5-inch SATA data storage drive and an M.2 2280 M-Key, with additional expansion supported by the presence of an M.2 2230 E-Key for Wi-Fi, as well as full-size Mini Card and SIM slots.
