VILLEBON-SUR-YVETTE, France – TECHWAY in Villebon-sur-Yvette, France, is introducing the PFP-IV Kintex UltraScale+ PCI Express embedded computing board for rugged and industrial applications.

The PFP-IV has a FMC+ site and meets the VITA 57.4 open-systems standard. The PFP-IV is a multi-purpose PCI Express x16 Gen3 platform based on the powerful AMD Kintex UltraScale+ field-programmable gate array (FPGA).

This board is for extreme high-speed applications such as 100 Gigabit Ethernet communications, 4/6 GHz A/D and D/A conversion, ARINC 818, AURORA, JESD, and sFPDP.

The PFP-IV comes with a development kit that enables systems designers to focus on application developments rather than on the low-level layers like FPGA communication, memory controller, and PCI Express drivers.

The rugged PFP-IV offers the Kintex UltraScale+ FPGA, FMC+ site, DDR4 memories, system-on-module (SoM) based on Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, management system, and 28-gigabit-per-second optical links.

The optional SoM offers powerful CPU capabilities for offloading of application. The PFP-IV can function in a standard PC environment with development kit available for Windows and Linux, or in stand-alone mode in an enclosure by adding Zynq capabilities.
