Wagner Associates eyes sensor performance prediction with machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI)
ARLINGTON, Va. – U.S. Navy needed probabilistic modeling and machine learning software for a variety of U.S. military projects. They found their solution from Daniel H. Wagner Associates Inc. in Exton, Pa.
Officials of the Office of Naval Research in Arlington, Va., announced an $8.9 million order on Tuesday for the Probabilistic Sensor Performance Prediction project and other artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning services to optimize naval mission effectiveness.
Wagner Associates develops, implements, markets, and provides training for custom scientific software, and solutions to complex and technically challenging operational problems, such as artificial intelligence (AI).
The company has experience at implementing sophisticated mathematical algorithms in software modules that military personnel can use in anti-submarine warfare, surface warfare, air warfare, mine countermeasures, search and rescue, and other real-world operations.
Wagner Associates was the originator of the IOU Kalman Filter, also known as the Maneuvering Target Statistical Tracker (MTST) for the Global Command and Control System and the Tomahawk Weapon Control System.
On this order Wagner Associates will do the work in Exton, Pa., and should be finished in September 2026. For more information contact Daniel H. Wagner Associates online at www.wagner.com, or the Office of Naval Research at www.wagner.com.
