PENNSAUKEN, N.J., 19 April 2005. Science Dynamics Corp. announced today that Commander, Navy Installations (CNI) Command has renewed its contract for program management, business analysis, systems evaluation, and strategic planning support.

The annual contract, which will be managed by the company's subsidiary, Systems Management Enterprises, Inc. (SMEI), is for $490,000 and has one year remaining.

CNI oversees all shore installations that support the Navy fleet. CNI is responsible for standardizing business practices and systems utilization throughout the Navy and has begun to reduce thousands of legacy applications and disparate systems.

SMEI has guided CNI through a major systems rationalization, reducing costs and increasing standardization. SMEI professionals have been working closely with CNI management to analyze CNI's existing portfolio and recommend reductions from over 10,000 entries for 2,000 applications. So far the total has been reduced to 500 approved, standardized applications. The next phase of the process is expected to reduce the number even further.

"We are pleased that we have been selected to continue with the work we have been doing with the Navy and other government agencies," said Paul Burgess, CEO of Science Dynamics.

SMEI's efforts for CNI involve identifying solutions to support reengineered business processes, selecting the systems for Navy-defined functional areas common across installations, facilitating and administering business case analyses, concepts of operation, and related strategy and acquisition documents. SMEI also provides meeting facilitation, assessment guidance, deliverable management and program management support to these efforts.
