Rugged 3U VPX embedded power board for military and aerospace applications introduced by NAI
BOHEMIA, N.Y., 26 Aug. 2016. North Atlantic Industries (NAI) in Bohemia, N.Y., is introducing the VPX55H-3 rugged 3U VPX power board for military and aerospace embedded power applications.
The VPX55H-3 provides as much as 500 Watts of power at CC4 temperature range and full load with six outputs. The single-slot device complies with MIL-STD-704F, and includes current share, remote error sensing, and a built-in EMI filter that meets MIL-STD-461F.
The VPX55H-3 is designed to meet standard 3U VPX mechanical requirements and has VITA 62 compatible keying, outputs and signaling, user programmability, I2C communications, geographical addressing, programmable over-temperature monitor, and a five-state status LED.
The VPX55H-3 provides an input that accepts +28 volts DC (+16 to +36 volts DC continuous). Programmability, I2C communications, remote sense, and current share are included.
