HENDERSON, Nev., 24 Feb. 2014. VadaTech Inc. in Henderson, Nev., is introducing the ATC806 40G and 10G Layer 3 managed switch for AdvancedTCA (ATCA) embedded computing applications. The board includes two mid-sized AMC slots.
The ATC806 comes in three performance levels. Designers can choose the throughput level their application requires -- 320G, 480G, or 640G. Each slot can run either 40G or 10G.
The ATCA switch provides two ports of 40 Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet to Zone 3 RTM, 13 ports to the fabric channel, and one port to the update channel. There also are dual 10G ports routing to the RTM (Zone 3).
The front panel ports include octal 10/1000/1000 Ethernet, one Gigabit Ethernet, and one RS-232 via RJ-45. VadaTech also provides 10G/1 Gigabit Ethernet ATCA switches and low-cost versions.
