One-half ATR enclosures for avionics and military applications introduced by Pixus

WATERLOO, Ontario, 7 Oct. 2012. Pixus Technologies in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing ATR enclosures for avionics and similar aerospace and defense embedded computing applications. The first in the series is a conduction-cooled 1/2 ATR short, developed using the frame from partner Wakefield-Vette in Pelham, N.H.
The Pixus ATR series offers different sizes and configurations of enclosures, in fan convection and conduction-cooled versions. This includes sizes in 1/2 and 3/4 in the long and short ARINC formats.
Backplanes are available off-the-shelf or customized in CompactPCI, MicroTCA, OpenVPX, VME/64x, and other architectures. The company also uses the standard enclosure frame options of industry partners to offer customers a tailored design to their application.
