Connect Tech Inc. introduced the Xtreme/CPU - PCI/104-Express processor module, based on Qseven modules provided by congatec in Deggendorf, Germany. The Connect Tech Xtreme/CPU is an embedded carrier board that enables complete integration with any industry standard Qseven module. The Connect Tech device also provides on-board connectors allowing for access to Qseven features. PCI/104-Express single board computer features include: PCI/104-Express form factor with 4 x1 PCIe lanes; Gigabit Ethernet; LVDS; and VGA video. Incorporating Qseven creates an I/O platform with a scalable CPU, Connect Tech officials say. Simply changing the Qseven module provides users with access to Intel Atom processor-based products. The Xtreme/CPU - PCI/104-Express processor module is compatible with all Qseven modules that are available at this time time, including those from: congatec; Hectronic AB in Uppsala, Sweden; IEI Technology Corp. in Pomona, Calif.; iWave Systems Technologies PVT Ltd. in Eutingen, Germany; MSC Vertriebs GmbH in Stutensee, Germany; NETIO Technologies Co., Ltd. in Taipei, Taiwan;Portwell, Inc. in Taipei, Taiwan; and Seco s.r.l. in Arezzo, Italy.
