HERNDON, Va., 19 July 2007.Objective Interface Systems Inc. (OIS), a provider of high-performance, real-time, and embedded communications middleware solutions, and SYSGO AG, a supplier of reliable device software, entered into a technology alliance to integrate OIS' communications technologies with SYSGO's portfolio of operating systems to enable high-performance, secure, and safe foundations for mission-critical systems for the military/aerospace market.

Product integration between SYSGO's real-time operating systems (RTOS) and OIS' communications middleware for high-performance applications is a draw for makers of communication systems, radar and sonar systems, avionics systems, and other security- and performance-critical applications.

"Communications in embedded systems are complex. With OIS' communications middleware, this is no longer the case. It provides a portable communications infrastructure that solves the incompatibilities in data networks," says Torsten Sehlinger, vice president of marketing, SYSGO AG. "SYSGO developers will soon be able to use the complete range of OIS' high-performance, small-footprint communications middleware with SYSGO operating environments. This will allow customers to establish communications among diverse systems, even the most mission-critical -- without having to make modifications at the code level."
