Industrial-grade computer for Internet of Things (IoT) applications introduced by WIN Enterprises
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – WIN Enterprises Inc. in North Andover, Mass., is introducing the industrial-grade PL-81840 desktop computer for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
The unit supports Intel Celeron N3350/ Pentium N4200 (formerly code named Apollo Lake)/Atom E39xx (formerly called Apollo Lake-I) low-voltage processors.
The computer supports as much as 8 gigabytes with dual channel high bandwidth DDR3L SO-DIMM slot and on-board DDR3L memory. Its storage interfaces include one 2.5- or 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drive and eMMC flash storage.
PL-81840 has 6x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports with two pairs of Gen3 bypass functions on the rear-panel, which also includes two USB 3.0 ports, and one RJ-45 console port.
The front panel has LED indicators that monitor power and storage device activities for local system management, maintenance, and diagnostics. In addition, the PL-81840 supports a mini-card socket for LAN expansion. This Internet of Things computer is RoHS, FCC and CE compliant.

The PL-80990 computer supports two DDR4 2133 MHz un-buffered / Non-ECC / ECC DIMM, and has a maximum memory capacity of as much as 32 gigabytes.
The storage interface supports 2.5-inch SATA 3.0 hard disk drive/SSD and 1 m-SATA slot for basic network storage applications. The PL-80990 has either one standard PCI Express X8 card or one PCI Express X8 slot for an expansion module.
Expansion modules support 4 / 8 Gigabit Ethernet Copper; 4 / 8 Gigabit Ethernet Fiber; 2 / 4 10-Gigabit Ethernet Fiber; 2 40-Gigabit Ethernet Fiber; and a maximum of 14 Gigabit Ethernet Copper port support with 4 pairs BYPASS function.
