Army briefings in April to focus on next-generation vetronics for armored combat vehicles

WARREN, Mich. – U.S. Army experts will brief industry next month on plans for vehicle electronics (vetronics), robotics, autonomy, power, mobility, and survivability for future generations of armored combat vehicles. Officials of the Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) will conduct one day of briefings and one day of one-on-one meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday 24 and 25 April 2018 at the John Lewis Conference Center at Macomb Community College, 14500 E. 12 Mile Road, in Warren, Mich.

Officials of the Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) will conduct one day of briefings and one day of one-on-one meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday 24 and 25 April 2018 at the John Lewis Conference Center at Macomb Community College, 14500 E. 12 Mile Road, in Warren, Mich.

These briefings and meetings are for representatives from small and large businesses, colleges, and government institutions who want to learn more about TARDEC's research projects on ground vehicle and ground vehicle systems technology and integration.

The event focuses on TARDEC’s ground vehicle systems; technology roadmaps, planned spending, and opportunities for industry, academia, and other government partners.

Registration for both days begins at 7 a.m. Presentations the first day are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and one-on-one meetings the second day run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants may sign up for on-site individual meetings on the second day with technology leads for open discussion.
